The Acoustic Collection - Event

This year we celebrate the release of a big collection of Acoustic guitars we were able to buy earlier this year from a private collector. Over 90! instrument from Gibson, Martin and Guild will be available. Build years go from early 70s to 2011. We are now working on restaurations of some models so we can show you the guitars in best possible condition! Stay tuned for more information to be released in this blog!!!

First Martin guitars are back from neck reset!
We are working in collaboration with Martin Meckbach from "Meckbach Gitarren" in Berlin to get our 70s Martins a proper neck reset. That allows us to do a professional setup for best playability! Also the new saddles are higher for more pressure on the top and better sound. A perfect refret by our luthier Daniel completes the restauration and gives you the opportunity to own an 70s Martin D-41, D-45 or D-76 LTD with perfect sound and playability!

We´re now close to have finished all Guild guitars for the event. Currently on the bench is this wonderful Guild JF-55 Natural!
Our luthier Daniel redressed the frets, oiled fingerboard and bridge, made a new bone nut, made a complete setup and restrung it with D'addario XT 12-53 strings. It plays and sounds beautiful! This is Sr.-Nr.:FE100 774 made in 1991

We´re slowly working through the collection, polishing, setting up and re-stringing guitar after guitar. Todays highlight is this Gibson Dove 100th Century Edition from 1994! It is in very good condition and sounds really warm, clear and balanced. The flamed maple on back and sides pops under the cherry gloss finish. A dream guitar!

We´re getting closer to our event! 10 days are left for the last guitars to be overhauled. Also Florian Rosenlöcher aka "Woody Music" is confirmed to play during the event to have a nice atmosphere for all of you while watching, touching and playing all these beautiful instruments!
