Gibson Les Paul 1959 Standard M2M Heavy Aged "539 Faded Tobacco Burst" #934112

In January 2022, Thom Fowle, head of the Nashville Custom Shop, received news that a number of exceptional flame tops were currently in stock. Fowle became the successor to the legendary Rick Gembar a few years ago and does his job with dedication and impressive expertise - it's always a pleasure to work with him! You don't get an opportunity like this every day and of course we took the chance to reserve a whole range of these treasures.
What else is missing to build a Les Paul that will keep you awake? First-class mahogany that wasn’t too heavy – Fowle was also able to provide that to us at this point. Plus a number of the usual and some new finishes ("Albatross Burst", Butterscotch Burst", "Pearly Gates Burst", "Aged Tobacco Burst", "Iced Tea 39 Minnesota Burst", "Crossroads Burst") and as an encore this Great aging of the team around Tom Murphy.

Here with the serial number #934112 is the last 1959 Les Paul from our order. Again with a magnificent flame-top and again a real lightweight at 3630 grams! We chose a “Faded Tobacco Burst” color. Looks as good as it sounds!
