#Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster 1955 Heavy Relic MN Violet

Here comes a 1955 Ash Stratocaster of a different kind! The body shaping adheres strictly to the original (apart from the "contoured neck heel"), as is the one-piece maple neck. However, this was modified a bit according to our ideas. So the fingerboard is dressed to a flat 12 "radius and now has 6105 "Narrow Tall" frets. The result is first-class playability thanks to the lacquer-free neck back and the fantastic shaping (57 Style Soft V).
The "contoured neck heel" suggests that this Strat sees itself as an uncompromising player. The staggered tuners also contribute to this, as they give the string tree only a visual meaning. Equipped in this way, the vintage tremolo shows remarkable tuning stability. Eddie van Halen demonstrated how perfectly this can work right from the start!
In terms of sound, this Strat benefits from the first-class, lightweight ash that was used for the body. In connection with the one-piece maple neck you get the typical sound of the early 50s Strats, which offers an incredible amount of dynamism and liveliness. This sound is perfectly transmitted by a Seymour Duncan "Pearly Gates" in the bridge position and the two "Texas Special" single coils.
