Full resonance, yet low feedback!
With the Gran Royale 1C Trem full-resonance electric guitar with 60mm deep sides and two elegant "F" soundholes, the Duesenberg guys from Hanover have once again build another great guitar! The special thing about it: To reduce unpleasant feedback, a special sound-post was installed under the bridge, which connects the top and the back in an effective way.
Elegance and grace!
At the Duesenberg Gran Royale 1C Trem great importance was set to style and elegance down to the last detail. The guitar appears in a classic vintage orange outfit, which is complemented by stylish hardware in Art Déco style. The distinctive Duesenberg Radiator Tremolo not only looks good, it also guarantees high tuning stability. The Duesenberg Open Z tuners in Art Déco style are a characteristic trademark of Duesenberg and work absolutely smoothly. The elegant Phonico pickup caps are an exclusive Duesenberg design and harmonize perfectly with the curved cover plates on the back.
The sound ... Jazzy, crunchy, tonal!
Due to its construction, the Duesenberg Gran Royale 1C Trem has an excellent tonal character, airy and light – as if made for sophisticated jazz, soulful blues, crystal clear country sounds or articulated rock. The characteristic sound of the full-resonance construction is perfectly transmitted by the powerful GrandVintage humbucker in the bridge and the dynamic Domino P-90 in the neck position. For optical reasons, both pickups were equipped with rounded Phonico pickup caps. The built-in four-way rotary switch offers an additional sound option in which the low frequencies are filtered out of the humbucker signal.
Conclusion
To say it in Duesenberg's own words: "Looking for a huge tone? Look no further!"
