Fender Custom Shop Telecaster 1972 Thinline TCP Blue Flower

Close menu

This '72 Thinline Telecaster was produced by Fender a few years ago as a reissue in a very limited edition. We were able to sell quite a few of them back then – they were fantastic instruments!

Currently, the Custom Shop is building us some of these models again in Pink Paisley and Blue Flower upon request. We ordered them in various agings (one of each color in TCP, Rel, and HRel) and wanted a few minor changes to the specifications.

For example, the fret wire (Medium Vintage/47095) is now slightly thicker, and the fretboard radius is currently 9.5". The Biflex truss rod has been replaced with a '68 version, as has the neck mounting plate (4-hole).
