Fender Custom Shop Jazzmaster 1962 LPB HREL Austin MacNutt

After a lot of wonderful Strats and Teles that Austin MacNutt built for us, it was finally time for a Jazzmaster. It was to be a '62 model in Lake Placid Blue, with heavy relic finish and, ideally, a true lightweight version. Fantastically executed, wouldn't you say? MacNutt himself seemed to have some fun building this guitar. Some pictures here, showing the Jazzmaster still in his workshop, he postet already on Instagram.
The RSD bridge is a feature that even  vintage enthusiasts wouldn't want to be without these days. Add to that the slightly thicker 47095 medium vintage fret wire and a 9.5" neck radius. Everything else remains strictly true to the original 1962 design, making this Jazzmaster a true highlight, both visually and in terms of playability, one that aims to compete with the best originals of that era.
