Here's a current model from the Fender Custom Shop, with which Fender pays homage to the 70th Anniversary models. These reissues of an early 1955 Stratocaster still feature the signature rounded PU covers of the first series and its sturdy U-shaped neck. The body is made from two pieces of premium alder joined in the center—in contrast to the off-center finishes of many '54 models.
