From January 2012 to January 2013, Fender built the first series of the "Stratocaster Pro." It was equipped with the highest-quality components, which Fender was clearly proud of. The body wood was described as "Hand Selected Premium Lightweight Swamp Ash," and the pickup winding was entrusted to Fender legend Abygail Ybarra. At the same time, the company made an effort to present this guitar in a more modern context. The neck joint featured a "Contoured Neck Heel," and the fingerboard featured 22 Dunlop 6105 Narrow Jumbo frets. The hardware included a 2-point tremolo and locking tuners.
