And at the bridge position is one of our favorite Humbuckers: Seymour Duncan's "Pearly Gates". An Alnico II pickup that is in the upper range of a good PAF in terms of performance and impresses with its assertiveness and its clearly articulated sound. This clarity with a slight emphasis on the upper mids is inherent in this Fessler-Strat, and one rarely hears such a characterful and inspiring humbucker sound on the amp. The hand-wound '66 Strat single coils (Middle PU RWRP) are a perfect match and make this Fessler a versatile workhorse.
