Here is an extraordinary Fender Custom Shop Nocaster with a classic "Keith Richards" pickup assembly. Crispy single coil on the bridge and a powerful humbucker in the neck position - "Keef" has sworn by this powerful combination since the early 1970s. The Handwound Loaded 51 Nocaster pickup at the bridge position is one of the best that the Fender Custom Shop produces. And it's not without reason that famous guitarists such as Billy Gibbons swear by the dynamic sound of the Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates neck pickup. "Best of both worlds" so to speak; more is not really possible.
But not only the electric side of this unique Fender Custom Shop Nocaster is absolutely convincing. Only the best materials were used in the choice of wood in the Fender Custom Shop: A "sorted for lightweight" ash body makes the Nocaster a pleasant lightweight with only 2,955 grams. The "grain plain" maple neck with a straight grain ensures that the neck will not lose any of its stability over the years. The wafer-thin nitro finish allows the wood to breathe and thus creates an open and absolutely dynamic tone. The strong "Butterscotch Blonde" finish is absolutely authentic and is perfect for this noble Nocaster model. The exterior is rounded off by a subtle Relic Aging, which gives the authentic impression of a guitar that has had almost 70 years of hard studio and live use behind it. Wow! This Nocaster not only looks cool, it "feels" really good right from the first moment – pleasantly light, with a great attack and incredibly resonant. Once played, you'll love it!
Apart from the Fender logo, the Fender Nocaster has no inscription on the headstock. How did that happen? When Leo Fender launched the Broadcaster in 1951, there was a dispute with the Gretsch Company, which already had a drum set called "Broadkaster" on the market. Leo didn't think twice, just removed the name "Broadcaster" from the Water Decal and brought out the guitar without a name. A little later it was to become the now legendary Fender Telecaster, which is found on studios and stages all around the world.
This Telecaster was sold December 2020 and was again traded in February 2021. Price was 4220.-. Instrument is new and unplayed with full warranty!
