The legendary "Hitmaker" Stratocaster by exceptional guitarist Nile Rodgers carries such an excess of the coveted "quack sound" that it is instantly addictive! This unmistakable Funk sound can be heard immediately on countless top hits and shaped the sound of his 70s funk band "Chic". You can hear it on the hit songs "Le Freak", "My Forbidden Lover" and on the No. 1 hit "Good Times".

Reason enough for Fender to release a detailed replica of its unique "Hitmaker" as part of a limited "Artist Signature Edition" in cooperation with Nile Rodgers. All the features that make this Strat so special were implemented here: The basis is a 1960s alder body, which is slimmer and has significantly deeper contours. Together with a '59 maple neck in the historically correct C-profile and classic 9.5" radius, the "Hitmaker" is a guarantee for an extremely pleasant playing feel. A real blessing for classic rhythm work in all positions! The great thing about it, however, are the specially developed Custom Strat® pickups, which can reproduce the magical sound of the original "Hitmaker" single-coil pickups extremely authentically: "Quack as Quack can be", crystal clear and in belly tones, as only known from Nile Rodgers. This is further supported through a "string-through-body" hardtail bridge, which provides a solid tone with lots of depth and sustain. Almost ideal for funky power rhythms! The also authentic "Sperzel locking" tuners on the "Hitmaker" enable a fast string change and improved tuning stability. And as befits a decent Artist Signature Edition guitar, it can also boast some extras and stylish details: a chrome-plated pickguard, Nile Rodgers inlays on the front and back of the headstock, a Hitmaker engraving on the neck plate and a vintage-style case with an embroidered Hitmaker logo.
