Fender Telecaster Jimmy Page, RW, Natural

Description

Most people only know Jimmy Page as a great musician – but only very few know that he attended art college at a young age and had a fable for painting. This is also the reason why Jimmy adapted his Fender Telecaster, which he received from Jeff Beck in 1966, always to the latest trends. In 1966, the futuristic jackets and dresses decorated with mirrors on Carnaby Street were totally in, so Jimmy put eight mirror stickers on his Telecaster. A year later, the heyday of psychedelic music came, so that, in keeping with the musical trend, he gave his "Mirror Telecaster" a magical creation of bright colors and a psychedelic dragon pattern – the legendary "Dragon Telecaster" was born. With this guitar Jimmy recorded the first Led Zeppelin album.

The Fender Telecaster Jimmy Page from the Fender Artist series is a homage to his legendary "Dragon Telecaster". It was designed to reproduce the original guitar as accurately as possible. As with the original, it has a two-piece body made of resonant ash wood. The maple neck with a historically correct rosewood slab fingerboard fits extremely well and is connected to the body with a "Jimmy Page Signature" chrome neck plate. The Jimmy Page Custom '59 Tele Pickups were built to come as close as possible to the originals. Perfect for uncompromising rock! The design of the bridge is also faithful to the 1959 original: The strings on the "Dragon Telecaster" can either be wound through the body (string through) or strung horizontally on the bridge, depending on personal preference. This gem is rounded off by a subtle "Jimmy Page" signature on the back of the headstock. But be careful: This icon of Rock history is only available for a short time in a limited edition!

When  "Good Times Bad Times" hit the radio in 1969, everything changed. At that moment, Jimmy Page influenced the course of popular music with a single guitar. The Jimmy Page Telecaster by Fender pays homage to this guitar, which originally had a white lacquer finish and later became the "mirror guitar" before it got its final finish. Painted by Page itself, it would become one of the most iconic guitars of the 20th century.
