Body

The body of the American Ultra II Tele is made of classic alder wood, which has been given an improved body shaping. 

Neck, Fingerboard and Headstock

The slim "Modern D" neck profile with its rounded edges ensures first-class playing comfort. In order to optimize access to the upper parts of the fingerboard, the American Ultra Tele was given a 10 "-14" compound radius and a neck with a tapered design. This neck shape is ideal for comfortable chord playing in the lower frets and at the same time for fast solos and bendings up to the highest frets. The playability in this constellation is just a dream! A very useful detail: The truss rod can be adjusted from the outside via the opening at the end of the neck. The maple fingerboard has comfortable medium jumbo frets. The locking tuners built into the headstock ensure high tuning stability and make it much easier to change the strings. Pure high performance!

Pickups and Hardware

Ultra Noiseless II™ Vintage Tele Pickups – two classic Telecaster pickups in single coil format and with an authentic vintage sound, but absolutely hum-free in all switch positions! Even with a cranked amp, you get a Tele sound without any annoying noise. That makes this Tele even more an ideal work tool for Country, Blues and Rock! In addition to the usual three switch positions, the built-in push/pull volume control (S-1 switch) optionally offers a serial or parallel combination of the neck pickup with the bridge pickup. And further: A built-in treble bleed within the electronics prevents loss of height when turning down the volume. As a further feature, the American Ultra Tele has been given a "string-thru-body" guide with six chrome-plated brass saddles. These modern and extremely practical features open up unlimited sound possibilities for today's Telecaster players!
