Here's a Les Paul Custom from Gibson's Made to Measure range. You can tell from the first play that only the best of the best was used here! The result is a tone so defined and with extreme sustain in all registers that you simply wants more of this! The wonderful basic sound is conveyed here by two old favorites: for the neck position, we chose the 490R, Gibson's flagship for many years for a bluesy and clear sound. In the bridge position, we chose the 498T, which, despite its significantly higher output (13.8 kOhms), is completely free of mush and mud and cuts through the band structure wonderfully.
