Les Paul Models

The Gibson Les Paul is the absolutely classic in the history of the electric guitar. The guitar with the nickname "Paula" influenced Rock music like no other guitar and can be heard on a large number of legendary recordings. Nearly every well-known Rock guitarist has picked up a Les Paul at some point. The Les Paul was launched in 1952, but at the end of the decade the Les Paul was described as too bulky and was taken out of the program in 1961. It was only when musicians like Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck discovered the warm and powerful sound of the Les Paul for themselves that the Paula began its triumphant advance in 1968. Since then, the Les Paul has been offered in various model variants; as Les Paul Standard, Custom, Classic, Studio, Junior and of course as a high-quality reissue from the Gibson Custom Shop.
