This distinctive Rickenbacker tone shaped the guitar sound of the early Beatles in a decisive way. Everything here matches the original – from the slightly shorter scale length that Lennon preferred to the classic vintage single coil toaster pickups and the Accent vibrato system. With the mix control developed by Rickenbacker, interesting sound variations can also be conjured up in the middle position.
