#1980 Fender Stratocaster RW Sienna Sunburst

Very good 1980 Fender Stratocaster with its original case. This Strat has been played, and the frets showed some major wear. Therefore, we decided to do a professional refret using vintage correct wire. Otherwise, the guitar is in original condition. The circuitry had been modified at some point in the past and was restored by us to its original state (parts and wires still original).

In 1979, Fender produced a massive quantity of headstock decals with the 'S9' prefix ('S' for Seventies, '9' for 1979). These stocks were not discarded on New Year's Eve 1979, but continued to be used well into 1980, 1981, and in some cases even 1982. All potentiometers and pickups date to 1980."
