Here's the Furch Vintage 2 00M-SR a with a slotted headstock! A wonderfully traditional-looking guitar that combines modern craftsmanship with the genes of vintage instruments. Its small 00-size body makes it very comfortable to play. The 12-fret construction and slotted headstock are also classic features. Because the neck joins at the 12th fret, the bridge sits in the "sweet spot" of the top, producing a sound volume you wouldn't expect from such a compact guitar. The bass is powerful and defined, the mids warm and assertive, and the highs silky and rich in overtones. A tone that is particularly great for fingerpicking.
Of course, this captivating sound is based on an excellent selection of tonewoods. The top is made of fine Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are crafted from the highest quality East Indian rosewood. The ivory-colored "faux ivory" binding provides a beautiful contrast. Furthermore, a classic herringbone inlay adorns the top edge. Additional highlights include the abalone rosette, pearl fretboard and headstock inlays, and the extra-thin vintage gloss finish!
