The Gibson SJ-200 is one of the most iconic guitars Gibson has ever released. Its large jumbo body and the resulting voluminous sound have delighted players all over the world for decades. Some of the most famous musicians have used an SJ-200 - Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Noel Gallagher - just to name a few famous guitarists.

With the Gibson SJ-200 1957 Reissue, the traditional manufacturer is launching a vintage-inspired replica of the classic. The best ingredients, such as heat-treated tonewoods, hot hide-glue, an extra-thin nitrocellulose finish and hand-carved bracing, merge into a unique sound experience. The sound character is open, voluminous, clearly accentuated and provided with the typical rich bass. The thin VOS finish gives the guitar the feel of a naturally aged instrument. The neck is a bit thicker than modern Gibson guitars and feels great in the hand. All the visual details are wonderfully crafted. A real highlight for us!
