Here is a classic round shoulder dreadnought, the Iris DF! Named after master luthier and co-founder Dale Fairbanks, the DF was introduced as the second model of the Iris Guitar Company. They based this model on the sought-after slope shoulder dreadnought guitars, which were made in Kalamazoo in the 1930s. The large body delivers a great sound-volume, cheeky highs and great "punchy" mids. Anyone who likes to wear a cowboy hat in their free time will certainly enjoy this guitar!
The version shown here has been equipped with a few extras. We had the top painted with a tobacco burst. In addition, the ivoroid bindings stand out beautifully from the tonewoods. A nut width of 44.5mm offers more space for picking!
