Since its debut in 2022, the Iris MS-00 has enjoyed growing popularity. This model was developed in close collaboration with Mark Stutman from "Folkway Music" and is consequently named after him. Mark Stutman is known as an expert on vintage Gibson guitars from the 30s and 40s, and his knowledge was instrumental in the development of the Iris MS-00.
Inspired by vintage 00 models, this instrument perfectly captures the charm of the sought-after vintage guitars. We have had the version shown here equipped with a torrefied (heat-treated) Adirondack spruce top, which gives the guitar even more power and warmth. To let the woods speak for themselves, only a thin natural nitro lacquer was applied here. Bindings and pickguard are made of ivoroid.
The perfect guitar for fingerpicking or blues. Even light strumming sounds powerful and voluminous thanks to the Adirondack spruce top!
