Here's a truly classic Martin 00-28 12-Fret from the Martin Custom Shop in Pennsylvania! Upon first inspection, we were immediately struck by the outstanding wood selection. The top is extremely fine-grained and of the highest quality. This also applies to the East Indian rosewood used. The straight grain and even, dark color of the wood will make any wood connoisseur's heart beat faster! The perfect prerequisites for an excellent-sounding guitar. And these expectations are 100% met! The response is fast and full of energy. This is also due to the thin scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing, which acts as a booster. It delivers beautiful depth of sound and excellent balance. Perfect for fingerpicking!

The 00 body with its 12-fret construction is compact and similar in size to a classical guitar. It is also very lightweight. The neck sits comfortably in the hand, and the standard taper creates generous string spacing toward the bridge, providing plenty of room for your fingers. Even this very classic-looking guitar features a few small but fine visual details that we've adapted. For example, the nut is angled or parallel to the headstock angle, as is typical of vintage guitars. The headstock front features an ebony veneer and, unlike the back of the neck, is finished in high-gloss. The rosette is Old Style 18. The bridge features ebony pins with paua dots. All these subtle details and excellent woods give the guitar a very sophisticated appearance. This high-quality instrument comes in a stylish 5-ply hardshell case with a red interior lining!
