This Martin 000-28EC Eric Clapton Signature was built in 2012 and is in very good condition. Only the back has a dent from a guitar stand. The rest is in pristine condition. The guitar was checked, prepared and perfectly adjusted by our luthier.
The Eric Claption Signature Model is probably one of the most famous Martin models. It is based on the legendary 000-28 with Sitka spruce top and East Indian rosewood for back and sides. However, some details set the 000-28EC apart from the standard model. The neck has a high-gloss finish and has a stronger Soft V profile instead of the slim Modified Low Oval neck profile. There is also a custom inlay at the end of the fretboard with the signature of the guitar legend and a rosette with a herringbone inlay. A label inside the body shows the signatures of C.F.Martin IV and Eric Clapton. You can also see the consecutive model number on the label.
A fantastic model that perfectly captures Eric Clapton's acoustic sound with its smooth, benevolent tone. Not only for fans a really exciting guitar!
