The limited edition Martin 00L Oliver was created in collaboration with the artist Julie Heffernan! Only 104 of these instruments will be built for the global market. The FSC® certified Sitka spruce top serves as a canvas for Julie Heffernan's oil painting, which is called "Self-Portrait as Arms and the Men". The artwork depicts a surreal landscape that shows the conflict between nature and humanity and our influence on the environment.
Behind the eye-catcher is a superbly sounding 00 guitar. The small body is extremely comfortable and delivers a balanced sound. Its tone is warm with beautiful overtones. The back and sides are made of Hawaiian koa, which has a decisive influence on the sound. Soft playability is achieved through the shorter scale length. The neck width of 44.5mm allows enough space for fingerpicking.
