Thanks to the "Golden Era" scalloped X-bracing, the guitar is easy to set in motion and very resonant. A scale length of 24.9" (63.2 cm) results in lower string tension, making the Martin 00-18 incredibly smooth to play. Last but not least, the well-shaped Golden Era neck profile also contributes to its excellent playability.
