The Martin X-Series combines classic Martin sound with alternative materials and robustness. With the GPC-X2E Cocobolo, you get a lot of guitar for comparatively little money. The Grand Performance body with cutaway delivers a voluminous and balanced sound. A solid spruce top ensures beautiful dynamics and high sound quality. The back and sides are made of HPL (High Pressure Laminate) with a Cocobolo pattern. This material is very robust and resistant to fluctuations in humidity. With a nut width of 44.5 mm, the neck is not too narrow and offers plenty of room for fingerpicking. The Fishman® MX system sounds powerful and warm. It can also be adjusted using volume and tone controls integrated into the soundhole. A button hidden beneath the control unit activates the tuner, which is also integrated into the soundhole rim.
