Stripped down to the essentials, the Taylor 24ce initially appears very simple. The uncompromising craftsmanship, high-quality woods, and intelligent construction result in an instrument with outstanding tonal qualities and excellent playability. The top is made of mahogany, while the back and sides are made of sturdy, laminated sapele. The heat-treated maple neck is simply bolted to the body. The fingerboard and bridge are made of genuine ebony! When you consider that this price also includes a great-sounding Fishman pickup system and a sturdy case, it's an absolute must-have.
