The Taylor Legacy 514ce is one of two Grand Auditorium models in the Legacy Collection. This design was first launched in 1994 and is thus celebrating its 20th anniversary! This model combines the typical Taylor sound with plenty of warmth and easy response. Thanks to the Western Red Cedar top, the Legacy 514ce responds to gentle touches and unfolds its full sound potential. These advantages are particularly evident when fingerpicking and light to medium strumming with the pick. Equipped with the X-bracing design of the 90s and early 2000s, its characteristics are reminiscent of the instruments of that time. In terms of neck construction, the tried and tested NT neck system was deliberately retained.

The look is also reminiscent of the early version of the 514ce. The faux tortoise material can be found on the body and fingerboard binding, as well as the pickguard. A 3-ring rosette with wide abalone ensures a classic and elegant look. The fingerboard features "Small Diamond" mother-of-pearl inlays. Gold-colored Taylor tuners fit seamlessly into the overall picture. The whole thing is rounded off by ebony bridge pins with abalone dots.
