For decades, fingerstyle virtuoso Doyle Dykes has captivated audiences with his masterful playing. Now, Taylor, in collaboration with Doyle Dykes, is releasing a very special and limited-edition instrument! The new Taylor Doyle Dykes Signature features a Grand Auditorium body with a shallower rib depth. This results in a faster response and more controlled bass response. It also makes the guitar more comfortable and sits closer to the player. Its tone is exceptionally clear and articulate, thanks in no small part to the tonewoods used. A top made of fine Sitka spruce, along with a back and sides of beautifully figured Big Leaf maple, are ideal components. Furthermore, the short scale length of just 62.7 cm reduces string tension and creates a smooth playing feel. Those who want to explore the upper frets can do so thanks to the generous Florentine cutaway.

Visually, the new Taylor Doyle Dykes Signature is as unmistakable as its namesake. The "Translucent Orange" color, as the name suggests, allows the natural grain of the wood to show through. Ivory-colored grained ivoroid bindings and numerous abalone inlays provide a striking contrast. The rosette, the top edge decoration, and the rose in the headstock are all crafted from this blue-green seashell. Equipped with the new Taylor Claria pickup system, this guitar is also perfectly suited for the stage.
