Equipped with selected components that come very close to the original setup of an old Fender Tweed Champ, this 1957 Custom Champ sounds like the best originals from the 50s. For this, the original 5F1 circuit was equipped with a 12AY7 preamp tube, a 6V6 power amplifier tube and a 5Y3GT rectifier tube as well as "Yellow Cap" capacitors. Everything just the finest, plus of course a Weber Special Design Alnico speaker, as used in classic Fender amps. This iconic vintage amp can be heard on thousands of recordings and has always had a place in the history of Country, Blues and Rock music. It is not for nothing that it is still used for recordings in all studios around the world to this day.
