Also one of those guitars from Austin MacNutt that you don't want to put down... The typical neck profile of these mid-60s necks lay perfectly in the left hand: quite slim first, a bit fuller towards the 12th fret. When it comes to the aging-process, Austin seems to hold back a little more than his colleagues, but it's definitely done great. A subtle crackling in the very thinly applied flash coat lacquer, which feels just as slightly rough as the originals. The sound can also compete with the best vintage Strats. The quality of the tonewoods is what you would expect from a Masterbuilt guitar. In addition, there is a very pleasant weight of just 3354 grams and a pitch-black rosewood fingerboard for your eyes. Further highlights: Ancho Poblano single coil PUs hand-wound by Josefina Campos, 12" fingerboard radius, tuning-stable vintage tremolo with staggered tuners.
Additional Notes: 1962 Stratocaster, Fret Ends Slightly Rounded, Unfin NB Relic, 3 x Josefina Campos Hand Wound SC's, Tone Saver Treble Bleed, 1962 Decal
