2020 Gibson Les Paul Special SC 1957 TV Yellow VOS NH #70369

This reissue of the 1957 Les Paul Special Single Cutaway features a one-piece body crafted from lightweight, premium-grade mahogany. While the bodies of the original models from the 1960s were sometimes made from a single piece, they could also be constructed from up to three separate pieces. Compared to the Junior model offered in the same year, the Special offered a touch more luxury; after all, this model features a second P90 pickup in the neck position, and its substantial neck—carved to a '57 C-shape profile—is finished with binding.

The reissues currently produced by the Gibson Custom Shop are of brilliant quality and, without exception, feature one-piece bodies. Every detail of this instrument is 100% accurate to the original, as is the brown hardshell case with its pink interior.
The model shown here was built in 2020, has had one previous owner, and remains in perfect condition!
