This 1959 Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aged Reissue was built in 2023 by the Gibson Custom Shop and is pre-owned. Two things immediately stand out about this magnificent Les Paul: its very low weight of 3562 grams and its incredibly powerful and dynamic tone! No matter what range you play, the Gibson's tone is brimming with vitality and offers great sustain without compromise, even in the often problematic 12th/14th fret positions. Fantastic!
Sonically, this is a '59 reissue that truly stands out and is sure to impress! The appearance of the top and the aging blend seamlessly into the positive overall picture. On the back of the body, there are two small dents that are probably not part of the Murphy aging. Otherwise, this Gibson, including the case, is in near-new condition.
