1997 Guild D-55 Natural

This Guild D-55 Natural dates back to 1997 and was crafted at the Westerly factory! It is a legendary model boasting impressive tonal volume and stunning aesthetics. The bass response is powerful and defined, while the highs are clear and bell-like. With just the right amount of midrange punch, it cuts through the mix beautifully! True to Guild tradition, it features a slim neck profile that invites fast chord changes. This beautiful instrument comes in its original hardshell case!

Over its nearly 30-year lifespan, this Guild D-55 has picked up some signs of play, though nothing beyond a few superficial scratches or minor dings. At some point, the height of the bridge was slightly reduced; this has actually had a positive effect, as it reduces mass on the soundboard, allowing it to vibrate extremely freely! There is also plenty of room for adjustment at the saddle. The action is currently set low, measuring just over 2mm on the bass side. Inspected and freshly re-strung by our guitar technician!
