The Fender Texas Special ™ Strat Pickups have bright, bell-shaped mids, crisp tight bass and crystal clear highs. These overwound single coils are perfect for Texas blues in the style of Stevie Ray Vaughan. The Texas Specials are calibrated Stratocaster pickups with Alnico 5 magnets and enamelled coil wires. The pickup in the middle position is wrapped in reverse and reverse polarity, so that the hum in positions 2 & 4 is prevented.
