Fender PU Strat Custom Shop Fat ''50s

Fender Custom Shop Fat’s 50s Strat Pickups are based on the best pickups that Fender built. Due to the possibilities at former time, the spread was relatively large. But the best models from that time sounded clear, voluminous and bell-like. This is exactly the sound Fender captures with the Fat 50's and has adapted the copper wire even more to the old originals. The current version reproduces the bass more saturated than before and eliminates rugged mids. These calibrated pickups feature hand-ground, staggered Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar coil wire. The pickup in the middle position is reversely wound and polarized, so that the hum in positions 2 & 4 is prevented.
