Hanging on the strap, this Preci weighs a very pleasant 3942 grams and is perfectly balanced. Also Fender has put a lot of effort into the ingredients: hand-selected alder for the body, time capsule finish, 1-piece quartersawn maple neck (the most stable and best maple for a bass neck - Vince Van Trigt has never used anything else...) and a hand-wound P-Bass pickup. The whole thing is packaged as an authentic '57 reissue. You can't really do it any better.
