Here's another magnificent 59 Standard that you don't get every day even from Gibson's Custom Shop! A maple-top selected by us, best sounding and very light mahogany for the body and great aging add up to a top-class Les Paul.
Serial number #932078 was painted for us by the Custom Shop in the color “Albatross Burst” and it comes with a special certificate showing the wooden blank for the top.
The sound reveals a great balance of bass, mids and highs. The sustain is in a class of its own in all positions and the direct response and clarity of the tone make playing a lot of fun!
