Fender has pulled out all the stops with this American Custom Strat to present a perfect symbiosis of old and new features. The body (57 Style Deep Body Contours) is made of excellent ash, and the neck, which fits perfectly in the hand, is made of 1-piece roasted flamed maple (3A). It really looks fantastic and you can hear how the sound can develop to its full splendor when you first play it, thanks to the first-class tonewoods and perfect workmanship. It is only at second glance that you notice details such as the "Contoured Heel", locking tuner and the Bi-Flex truss rod accessible from the headstock. Hand-wound Fat 60s single coils (Middle PU Reversed Wound) round off this impressive package.
