#Paul Reed Smith CE24 Semi-Hollow Fire Red Burst

In 1988 Paul Reed Smith successfully introduced a new model range with the "CE Series". In terms of its design, the CE 24 is a semi-hollow guitar consisting of a mahogany body with milled resonance chambers and an F-sound hole. This construction favors an airy sound that sounds exceptionally open. This sound characteristic is highly appreciated in Jazz and Blues, but also in Rock music.

A maple neck with a "Pattern Thin" profile and a rosewood fingerboard, decorated with the PRS-typical "Birds" inlays, is screwed to the semi-hollow mahogany body. Two of the proven PRS 85/15 pickups ensure a characteristic PRS sound with brilliant highs, clearly defined mids and a solid bass foundation. The integrated push/pull tone control allows the 85/15 pickups to be split into single coils, creating six different sounds. The overall impression of this amazing guitar is enhanced by a powerful, deep black finish, which fits perfectly to every stage outfit!
