The Gibson 50s J-45 Original is based on the coveted originals of the 50s, which is also known as the "Golden Era". Classic materials such as a Sitka spruce top and selected mahogany for the back and sides guarantee the classic Gibson sound. The look was also trimmed to the 50s. The headstock is adorned with the old Gibson logo and vintage machine heads. The binding is slightly tinted and therefore looks naturally aged. The large tortoise pickguard also pays homage to this era.
Tonally, the Gibson 50s J-45 Original impresses with its easy response, great dynamics and lots of headroom! It can be recorded extremely easily even in the factory settings. Fans of the somewhat stronger '59 style neck profiles will get their money's worth here! The overall package is just very consistent.
