The back and sides are made of selected Madagascar rosewood. In addition to the beautiful grain of the wood, Madagascar rosewood is characterized by its excellent sound properties. The bass is deep, clear and defined. The trebles also sound clear and open, with a long sustain. The cedar top forms a healthy counterpoint and rounds off the sound with its warmth. This guitar is also characterized by great dynamics and excellent response.

The many details made from Grenadill, also known as African Blackwood, with light sapwood ensure a unique look. This wood can be found on the front and back of the headstock, rosette, bindings and fingerboard. The top purfling, as well as the rosette and the back of the neck are additionally refined with snakewood inlays. As the name suggests, the grain of this wood gives the appearance of snakeskin. It is one of the most expensive woods in the world!
