With the Mando 12-string Duesenberg builds a bridge between tradition and modernity.
Based on the traditional mandola, an instrument was created here whose construction has many typical Duesenberg features. A body with large sound chambers to enhance tone and reduce weight, its signature tone is somewhere between solidbody and semi-acoustic constructions. A "LittleToaster" mini humbucker on the bridge and the "VintageClass"- single coil on the neck position for an open and transparent sound with lots of clarity. The sound produced is very similar to a mandolin and integrates beautifully with modern rock and pop music. The mando is played like a small 12-string guitar in standard tuning, so that you can use all your usual playing skills.
