Since their formation in 2011, the Bros. Landreth from Winnipeg, Canada have become a fixture in folk rock with their unique blend of Americana, blues and roots. Led by brothers Joey and David Landreth, they quickly made a name for themselves with their soulful lyrics and virtuoso compositions.
Dave's Signature Model is a special version of the Starplayer bass with specially tuned pickups. On the neck, the popular Duesenberg Alnico-Blade Bass Singlecoil is housed in a noiseless version under a new gold foil-like cover. This pickup conveys the clarity of a classic single coil and at the same time eliminates annoying background noise on stage. The noise canceling can be switched on or off with a small switch on the pickguard. The latest Duesenberg Gold-Foil Bass single coil sits on the bridge under a Phonico cover. This arrangement ensures exceptional transparency and clarity while delivering enough low-frequency power to fill the room with an appropriate bass foundation.
