Here is a fantastic Custom 24 10 top with stained maple neck and ebony fretboard. The 2-piece maple top is absolutely perfect and the "purple iris" finish gives the wood incredible depth. The body made of bright, lightweight mahogany stands in contrast to this in terms of colour. The impressive look is rounded off by the PRS-typical, natural binding on the top of the body. As a special feature, this custom has a stained maple neck with an ebony fingerboard. How does that sound? First of all you have the typical sound of a Custom 24 - not very far from a high-end Les Paul with warmth, pressure and great sustain in all registers. The maple neck gives this sound a whole tad more directness and treble. It's just incredibly fun to play, fits any style of music and is not spoiled in any way when the tremolo is used. This works unobtrusively and perfectly, especially when playing in the upper register you have still lots of sustain . Without any doubt a guitar of the absolute top class!
