The Fender Custom Shop is well known for developing highly interesting new variations of popular guitar models. So here too. The successful design of this Telecaster 50s Thinline combines elements of the Thinline Telecaster designed by Roger Rossmeisl in 1968 with the body shape of the legendary 50s Telecaster. And when it came to the choice of wood, only the finest has been used. The 50s Telecaster Thinline body made of selected ash was given a dark rosewood neck with a fine "AAA" rosewood fingerboard. This unique combination of high-quality tonewoods in conjunction with the two hand-wound pickups gives the Thinline Telecaster its very own sound – a good portion of warmth is added to the familiar Tele-Twang. The powerful Blackguard Tele Single-Coil on the bridge works excellently thanks to its higher output in the band structure; as an optimal addition to this, the "Twisted" Single-Coil on the neck is made for solid rhythm work. In addition, a greasebucket circuit was installed, which ensures that there is no loss of height when the volume control is turned back. From driving Country licks to soulful Blues variations and powerful Rock riffs, it's all there! The overall impression is rounded off by an extremely authentic relic aging in the classic color "Vintage Blonde", which visually supports the feel of a long-played original guitar.
