In developing this 1955 "White Guard" Telecaster Reissue, the Fender Custom Shop put a lot of love and enthusiasm into painstaking handwork to create a unique guitar that undoubtedly comes close to the best old originals. A "Sorted for Lightweight" ash body in combination with a "1-pc. Rift Sawn" maple neck in the authentic "U-Style" format and 9.5" radius provide an open and extremely dynamic tone. This Telecaster Reissue not only looks good, it "feels" really good right from the first contact – pleasantly light, with a great attack and incredibly resonant. And of course – the sound! Twang as Twang can be! The two Custom Shop Hand Wound 55/56 Tele Relic pickups produce a brilliant and clear tone that is second to none.
