What a guitar! Greg Fessler's aging is currently one of the best you can get from the Fender Custom Shop! Greg, for example, works the area above the pickguard very deeply - here the aging process is not only visible, but also tangible! Other details such as the absolutely authentic-looking clay dots, which were made of paper on the '62 originals and could not be produced for a long time due to a lack of suppliers, are perfectly reproduced here!
The other ingredients, including the fantastic Tomatillo single coils hand-wound by Josefina Campos, are also among the best you can order from the Fender Custom Shop. The neck is made of Rift Sawn Maple. This cut is also Vincent Van Trigt's favorite because it offers the greatest possible rigidity and stability. And when these ingredients are lovingly selected, processed and assembled by one of the best MasterBuilders, the result can only be this: a Strat for life!
