For the new Fender Vintera Stratocaster ´50's Modified, the three Stratocaster single coils have been "revoiced", ie newly tuned and the output increased slightly. They sound crisp and articulate and are powerful enough for any style of music. As with many details of the 50's Modified, clear influences from the Fender Custom Shop can also be seen on the neck construction. The classic 1-piece maple neck has a "Modern C" profile for excellent playability, plus the 9.5 "radius and 21 medium jumbo frets. The 2-point tremolo with curved steel frets is an equally successful mix of old and new. It offers excellent tuning stability and great handling. With the S-1 ™ switch you can switch the neck pickup to position 1 and 2 and thus get even more sound variations.
