Here is a series of 1964 ES-335 reissues, fresh from the Custom Shop and made exclusively for Guitar-Place, some of them in nice custom colors! Thom Fowle (head of the Nashville Custom Shop) guarantees us a first-class choice of wood - the center block is made of light, resonant maple and the bracing is made of top-quality Adirondack spruce. Together with the high-quality production by Gibson's best luthiers, instruments have been created whose sound is immediately reminiscent of Eric Clapton's legendary tone on his "Cream" albums. Analogous to the addictive sound quality, the aging is also at the highest level. For over 25 years, the Tom Murphy name has been synonymous with developing the finest aging techniques in Gibson guitars.
